My First Weekend Ranked Top 10!

Introduction
This is wild, after almost a year of playing I finally got a spot on the Top 10! And yes it was 10th but hey the Top 10 rewards are all the same now haha. I was barely hanging on but it happened! And what a great weekend to do it too, the last weekend that Light’s Verdict’s packs were being given out as rewards! I’ll talk about the deck a little then show you the goodies I got from it :)
Deck
Link to Deck List. This is the deck that I talked about in my post about Martyr of Whiteplain, so I won’t go too much into detail here but you can check it out in the link if you wanted. If I could get another Highborn Knight I would put that in instead of the second Canonize.
Now if you’ve read my previous posts you’d know that I am a F2P player. And then you look at that deck and you’re like, wait, how did that happen? Well I’m a part of a team now in GU, called Play 2 Win [P2W] that provides high shine and high value cards to our members. If you’re interested hit me up!
Packs!
Now for the exciting part, the rewards! So for top 10, you get an additional 2 Core Legendary Packs plus 3 MJ/LV Legendary Packs, along with my 16 wins that brings it up to 5x Core Legendaries and 6x expansion Legendaries. I’ve never seen so many golden packs waiting for me before! There’s still some bad news here though, in that I only got 1 LV card from all of those. The good news? Well, you’ll see:
Did you see him!? Yes, the Thaeriel!!! Worth about $500 USD! Woooooooooooooo. Definitely my best pull since I’ve started playing. The other Legendaries weren’t that great but I did get a Thestor the Molestor as well :)
Tournament
I used this deck in the Aqua tournament as well, but it was banned 4 out of the 6 times haha. My other decks were a Mid/Control Deception and a Card Draw Magic deck, yes the one that I’ve been building for a year that I talked about in my very first post.
I actually ended up in the 35th spot out of 512 which wasn’t bad at all! However, the last round was waaaaay too close, with the series being tied 1-1, and I was one turn away from dealing lethal when they got exact lethal, dropping 3 spell boosts and then blasting my face (it was a Card Draw Magic mirror match). Top 16 and 32 had way better prizes! But oh well, it was fun and I did ok. Here are the LV cards I got from the prize packs, nothing too crazy and the same LV epics that I already have.
